Plant Pure Potluck

What to Expect:

This monthly Potluck group is a PlantPure Pod, a non-profit, independent group aimed at promoting a whole food plant based lifestyle. It is co-sponsored by The Center at Ginger’s and Danielle Dinkelman, Certified Health & Wellness Coach.

We meet on the 4th Saturday of every month, from 6:00-8:00 pm. It is a free event. Children are welcome, but very young children tend to get bored in the small space full of adults talking. Some families bring little ones an ipad to watch a movie. 

6:00 - introductions 

6:15 - eat & mingle

7:00 - short presentation, discussion, and Q&A

7:20 - more mingling

The Location:

We meet in the conference room & yoga studio upstairs from Ginger’s Cafe

188 S Main St 

Springville, UT 84663

Once you arrive at Ginger’s, there is parking on the street at the main entrance, just south next to Magleby’s, and large parking lot to the west, behind the store front. 

Go in the front entrance, go to the right around and past the front counter, through the Herb Shop, and you’ll see a set of stairs. Go up the stairs. To the left is the conference room where we lay out the food. To the right is the yoga studio where we have tables and chairs for eating. 

The Food:

Items you bring should be "whole food, plant-based," which means: 1. No animal foods (no dairy, eggs or meat of any kind, including fish); 2. Very low or no sugar or other processed foods; 3. No oils (no vegetable or other cooking oils, including olive or coconut oil)

The Purpose:

These meetings are intended to provide support and a community around healthy plant based eating. All are welcome, novices & veterans alike. People that eat this way 100% of the time, people who like to eat this way some of the time, and people who have never heard of this and would like to see what it’s all about. 

We always give a short presentation so we can discuss and share the benefits of moving toward WFPB eating. This is an inclusive community event, not an exclusive club. Always feel free to bring friends and family that would like to learn more. 

Our message is this: ANY movement in the direction of more whole foods and more plant foods will benefit you. Come see how delicious and satisfying this food can be.
